Mayor
Lorenzo Torres of Paihuano City told us that, their area has received much
help in these few days from the Government, Police Department, Public Welfare
Department, professors, private organizations and the general public. Furthermore,
last Friday, they received from representatives of the Supreme Master Ching
Hai International Association 400 bags of relief materials, US$2,000, 100
blankets, assorted medical supplies and even candies for the children in the
disaster areas.

Members of the Supreme
Master Ching Hai International Association visited our city, and promptly
rendered relief to the disaster victims. Mayor Fernando Guaman greeted the
relief team and expressed gratitude for their benevolent actions to the victims.
The representative of the Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association
said that the intent of their visit was to help anyone in need.
After
the meeting, Mayor Fernando Guaman, on behalf of the Vicuna area, once again
expressed his sincere gratitude: We will never forget your loving actions.
