spiritual Interlude

Ever since I was initiated two years ago, Master's omnipotent power has always been taking care of me. Like a child under the immaculate guidance of parents -- teaching and admonishing me with patience, I grow up healthy and strong. Master always arranges the most suitable lessons for me to learn. Whenever I run into difficulties or setbacks, She gives me timely consolation and guidance, so I can fearlessly proceed on the path again.

In the middle of May, the Celestial Jewelry Exhibition was held in Atlanta City, New Jersey in the States. I was honored to have the opportunity to participate in this activity and thus, learned many lessons. I deeply realized that my unrefined qualities still need a lot of improvement. Through the experience of working for the Celestial Jewelry Exhibition, I know myself better, and I am grateful to Master for giving me this chance to improve.

There were too many unforgettable experiences. For example, I love cooking; but I can only do well when I have the proper utensils and materials. Each time I have to work in an undesirable environment, my performance is always poor. This time, in the hotel room booked by the working staff in Atlanta, a kitchen was made available for our use. As I was notified at the last moment in haste, I had only brought along several not very ideal utensils. Therefore, when it was my turn to do the cooking, I felt discouraged. I was thinking, "I always fail to prepare anything good when I have to work under such circumstances." Nevertheless, I decided to sweep aside my low spirit that day and with earnest sincerity, I recited the Holy Names while I was cooking. I was very happy that I had overcome my own limitation.

The next day, an American fellow brother told me that he really loved the food that I had prepared; he could feel that I had cooked it with total devotion, and the people felt satisfied eating it. I figured out why I couldn't cook good food previously: Whenever the circumstances were not ideal, I complained in my heart. I never tried to work according to the teaching that Master often talked about, "Make good use of the environment you are working in, instead of working only when the environment is ideal". Having gained the experience this time, I can apply it to other situations. I firmly believe that I can accomplish things satisfactorily if I do it with total devotion.

Thanks to Master's kind permission, this Celestial Jewelry Exhibition illuminated Atlanta City with the God's light. Innumerable seeds were sown in the hearts of the exhibitors and spectators, while fellow practitioners, who participated in the work, learned valuable lessons of how to achieve perfect qualities.

I am willing to follow Your footsteps forever, and to go home with You.

One day, on my way home after work, with poor visibility due to heavy rain, I had a small accident with another car. The driver in the other car lowered her window and wanted to discuss the matter with me by the roadside. At that time, I thought, "Oh, God! In such heavy traffic, with lines of cars, and on such a rainy day, why bother about such small business!" Then, I drove away. However, the other driver did not want to give in. She ran over, stood in front of my car, and wanted me to step out.

At that time, I suddenly remembered what Master had painstakingly taught us, "A practitioner of the Quan Yin Method, in order to be liberated in one lifetime, cannot owe anyone anything, not even a cent." So, I calmly asked her to call a policeman to come and take care of the matter. The trouble was then well solved.

Because of this event, I then became more aware of similar circumstances in my daily life. Consequently, I felt open and happy to repay whatever I owed. Thus, there were no more worries on my conscience. Only then could I feel light and free at the time of my passing away and could I leave comfortably without any debts!
