From February 2 to 12, the Taichung
Center participated in a series of activities convened by the Taichung
Municipal Government, referred to as "Express Courier of Warmth,"
"Love in Winter" and "Love United". A total of NT$50,000
was distributed to households suffering from financial difficulties due
to sudden disasters last year. Also, a medical team was organized to visit
low-income people, including forty-one elderly living alone in the Taichung
area, showing loving concern for them and providing medical treatment
free of charge.
