"Love Feast" at the Juvenile Center Tainan News Group, Formosa

To celebrate the arrival of the Chinese New Year, Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association and the Great Awakening Association jointly sponsored a "feast of love" providing a vegetarian meal to those detained at the Tainan Juvenile Detention and Classification House. For more than two years, fellow practitioners have paid regular visits to the home and consequently, many of the residents have become familiar with Master's teachings and some are practicing the Convenient Method. The meal and the karaoke sing-along provided entertainment for the youngsters in this joyful Spring Festival, but more importantly, it was an excellent opportunity for them to learn about vegetarianism in a natural way.
