On the outskirts of Cape Town, near some local shanty townships in Southern Africa, there is a place called "The Arc" that is a development sponsored by the Christian Faith Society that provides shelter and food for people in need regardless of any race, color, and background.

Our fellow initiates in South Africa paid them a visit during which they shared their love and greetings with the sick, the families, and the children there. Children were given shoulder rides as the initiates laughed and played with them. When asked to help in cleaning the litter, the children happily joined the work. Initiates also visited the small homes that the residents had built. Some grow their own vegetables and their gardens are simple, yet beautifully arranged, showing that we can create a heavenly paradise wherever we are. Foods, clothes, books, toys, and the Supreme Master Ching Hai News magazines were provided for spiritual and material support to help "The Arc" to continue its mission of helping the most needy.
